Beautiful Ganesh idols - Ganpati Festival of Pune

Pune has been traditionally a cultural capital of Maharashtra and India. The Ganesh festival , also called Ganeshotsav, is one of the most popular and famous festivals of Pune with a cultural tradition of over 100 years !
Idols of Ganpati ( Ganesh) in Pune are known for their pristine beauty. Their eyes speak for themselves and illuminate a divine aura.

The Ganeshotsav in Pune is also popular for the traditional bands (troupes) of  "Dhol-Tasha" , also called pathak (पथक ). The rhythmic plays of Dhol , Tasha , zhanj along with the dancing of the Dhwaj ( ध्वज , Flag ) is the hallmark of the festival and Pune.

OSHO: Meaning and Versatility of the word ‘FUCK’

 "After Friedrich Nietzsche declared that "God is Dead" - the word FUCK has become the most important word in the English language."

I watched this video of Osho and realized how equanimous he is during the sermon. The best part of the video is in final few seconds when he comments , "It clears your throat" and smiles. That smile is one of the best I have seen ... one must watch this 7 minute video till the end at least for that smile !

In this video, Osho speaks over the versatile use of the English word “Fuck”. It is one of the most interesting words in English language today. Osho says that there are not many words with the versatility of fuck. Besides the sexual meaning, there are also the following uses:

Ignorance: Fucked if I know.

Trouble: I guess I am fucked now!

Fraud: I got fucked at the used car lot.

Aggression: Fuck you!

Displeasure: What the fuck is going on here?

Difficulty: I can’t understand this fucking job.

Incompetence: He is a fuck-off.

Suspicion: What the fuck are you doing?

Enjoyment: I had a fucking good time.

Request: Get the fuck out of here.

Hostility: I’m going to knock your fucking head off.

Greeting: How the fuck are you?

Apathy: Who gives a fuck?

Innovation: Get a bigger fucking hammer.

Surprise: Fuck! You scared the shit out of me!

Anxiety: Today is really fucked.

Come September is one of the most popular instrumental tunes, liked and played by every guitarist or musician one time or the other while learning any musical instrument. The tune is part of the musical theme of an old classic Hollywood movie "Come September", also called its theme song.
This tune was one of my firsts that I had played on almost every instrument that I played , from Guitar to Banjo to Harmonium to Piano to Accordion !!
Many musicians all over world have got "inspired" from this tune and have composed songs in various languages including in Bollywood and Hindi.
